Meringue for pies & pudding
Meringue
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Beat egg whites until foamy - add cream of tartar - gradually adding sugar 1 TBSP. at a time - beat about 4 minutes (until glossy peaks form.
Pile on lemon, chocolate, caramel, etc. filling in crust being careful to seal at edges of crust and filling and Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes |
